At Trinity Church, we have a variety of Care Ministries that can provide care in different ways. These include:
- After Service Prayer Ministry
- Prayer Team
- Sunday Greeters
- Faith Partners
- Stephen Ministry
- Card Writing Team
- Home Communion Service and Bereavement Meals
- Financial Peace University
- And More
Our Trinity Congregational Care Ministries have trained Stephen Ministers who can offer compassionate support to the congregation in various ways, including being available after Sunday services for discussions, answering questions, and scheduling deeper conversations about personal or family concerns. We provide hospital and care visits, 1:1 caregiving for short or long-term needs, facilitate grief-sharing groups, and receive private prayer requests.
We will listen, care, pray, support, and encourage you during any difficult season in life. How do you need help? If you or someone you know could benefit from this, you can talk to Pastor Ben at any time, or send a confidential email to ccm@trinity1848.org.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus' command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.
The Stephen Ministry helps those who have normal coping skills but need someone to walk alongside them in faith and prayer during times when they are overwhelmed with the struggles of life.
A Stephen Minister is...
A Stephen Minister is NOT...
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, to share God's love with you can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing.

- Is life more than you can handle alone right now?
- Are your health, your attitude, or your relationships suffering?
- Are you adjusting to a new job, change in marital status, a serious illness, the death of a loved one, or a recent move?
- Would you like to have someone in your life who really cares?

A Stephen Minister is...
- A child of God who walks beside a hurting person
- A caring Christian friend who really listens
- A lay person who has received extensive training (over 50 hours!) in how to provide distinctively Christian care.
- Committed to growing spiritually in relationship with Christ, and growing in skills through regular Stephen Ministry Supervision meetings
A Stephen Minister is NOT...
- A counselor or therapist
- A problem solver
- A casual visitor

Each Sunday after worship, our Stephen Ministers will offer a private prayer ministry. They will be waiting near the piano for 10 minutes after the service. If you need an "After Person" after the service, we’re here for you. Come meet with us.

- After the divorce papers are served.
- After the funeral, when the visitors have left and the emotions flood in.
- After the doctor says, "There's nothing more we can do."
- After realizing that your illness is serious
- After moving a loved one into a nursing home.
- After the last child leaves home, and the house feels empty.
- After a loved one is sentenced to prison.
- After the baby arrives, bringing joy and exhaustion in equal measure.
- After losing a job and finding a pink slip with your final paycheck.
- After family and friends have heard your story too many times, but you still need to talk.

Prayer Team
"do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
The Prayer Team at Trinity Church works to pray for the needs of members, for our church's ministry, and for our community and world.
