Community Outreach

Through a number of community outreach programs, Trinity connects to our local community through love and service:

  •  Our Backpack Buddies program sends students from Gasden Elementary home with backpacks full of food for the weekend. The program is largely funded and volunteered by church members, and has been a successfully growing and rewarding program in our church for years.
  • Our Christmas Breakfast event provides homeless citizens of Savannah with a delicious, hot meal on Christmas morning. This too has been a consistently successful and growing program at Trinity serving between 200-400 people every year!
  • We have adopted Gadsden Elementary beyond just our Backpack Buddies program, including our members acting as  mentors and providing supplies for classrooms and teachers.
  • Our recovery ministry for the community, Faith Partners. This ministry includes members of Trinity Church and the greater community and its purpose is to raise awareness around issues of addiction and recovery. Nobody should deal with these issues without access to an informed community who cares!
