Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Why we give

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  In a spirit of gratitude, what we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. Below, we have included several different ways that you can give financially, in order to grow our historic, inclusive church and give back to our community in Savannah and beyond.

Make your 2026 commitment

In a spirit of gratitude, we're asking our members to consider how you might help Trinity Church grow in 2026, so we can not only continue to be faithful to God, but also more readily able to grow as God’s church on Telfair Square and beyond.

We ask that you prayerfully consider making a pledge towards our 2026 Operating Budget as your primary pledge. This is the main source of revenue we receive to support all of the wonderful ministries you experience as well as the ongoing maintenance of our historic building.

A secondary pledge would be toward our Legacy Campaign that we launched in 2023 when we completed a full interior restoration of our sanctuary, as well as major renovation to our fellowship hall in celebration of our 175th year on Telfair Square. The Legacy Campaign runs through 2028.  If you’ve already made a Legacy commitment and do not plan to change it, you can leave that portion blank in your annual Pledge Card.

Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration and generous response!  Submitting your pledge will let us know how you plan to give financially through the next year, and help our financial planning. Sunday, November 23rd will be Pledge Campaign Sunday. Below are a few notes to consider, and the documents we included in our 2026 Financial Stewardship Commitment packet.
Read through last year's giving guide and prayerfully consider how God might be calling you to support our ministries in the coming year. This guide shares more about why we give and how giving can make an impact in your life as well as the life of our church.
Check out the letter from our Legacy Campaign, with information on our building restoration efforts and campaign, linked below. The Legacy Campaign runs from 2024 through 2028, so we are also inviting you to join us in this long-term goal to pay off $600K in restoration debt.
You can read the "Ways To Give" section below, about how to engage in alternative ways of giving (stocks, IRA disbursements, etc) as well as how to set up a recurring gift online. We offer these avenues for giving so it can be easier for you to give as you feel led.
